Project Type: Memorial for entrance plaze of corporate headquarters. The center bench interacts with the sun’s angles on the calendar date of September 11th to recreate a timeline of the Pentagon attack. On this day every year, a seated visitor becomes cloaked in darkness at the time of the plane crash, evoking the tragedy of that moment. The bench wall spirals down into the ground marking the end of that catastrophic day – September 11, 2001.
