Sustainable design is no longer an idea that is “layered onto” a project. We integrate it into the design from the first conceptual sketches. We have 23 LEED® accredited design professionals who guide our clients through the process of making a building or office space efficient, affordable and green. Hickok Cole Architects’ philosophy of sustainable design reflects an increased commitment to the principles of environmental stewardship and conservation. Hickok Cole considers sustainable design to be an integral part of the design process. The goal is to design a facility for which overall quality is higher; life-cycle costs are lower; sustainability concepts and principles are incorporated to the greatest extent possible; and first costs are held to the original budget amounts.
