A New First Impression

A New First Impression

1325 G Street

Located within walking distance of the White House, 1325 G Street revitalizes an aging building with a dynamic new entry, distinctive building amenities, and a welcoming cohesive design. The scope includes the full redesign of the main lobby, replacement of storefront, canopy addition and interior public spaces improvements.

A sculptural canopy, defined by a dramatic custom light installation, creates a vibrant street presence. While the use of a low-iron glass curtain wall at the entrance aides in the pedestrian experience and provides transparency between the interior and exterior environments.

Upon entry, a contrast of organic and industrial finishes highlights the warmth and modern quality of the new design. The active mixed-use space redefines the lobby experience and fosters a sense of community among building tenants with the ability to accommodate independent working, small-group meetings, social gatherings, and events.

Hospitality-inspired furnishings activate the space with a sense of ease and luxury that encourage tenants to linger and relax. Amenity updates include a semi-private workspace, coffee bar, beverage credenza, and two lounge spaces complemented by a large faux fireplace and curated artwork for an added sense of sophistication.
